To some people, having a great body is simply what nature has given them. But you would not believe how much time professional models spend on their workout and special diet. Even them, you would not believe it – need to cut down on sweets and other junk food in order to maintain a gorgeous, stunning body. In the following few paragraphs you will find out eating habits of the world’s most famous models – Victoria’s Secret models. Here are their secrets.


The general picture

Victoria’s Secret models generally start their day with oatmeal and organic yoghurt, egg whites, vegetables and fruit. Lunches are reserved for smoothies – they are famous for sipping them backstage. A typical VS smoothie includes water in combination with leafy green, such as lettuce, spinach or some other dark vegetable which holds a lot of vitamins. They combine them with raw or slightly steamed salads and chicken, turkey, salmon or tuna. Vegetables are back on the dinner table, and include spinach, broccoli, asparagus, and other green veggies such as zucchini and cauliflower in a combination with chicken, turkey or fish, and some sweet potato. Of course, they are allowed to take snacks which include low-glycemic fruits, such as cherries, different berries, apples, kiwi and pears. Their absolute favourite are salt and sugar-free nuts like almond, peanuts and cashews.

The beautiful Miranda is famous for her passion for good health which she got from her family which appreciates organic living and organic food. She also adopted the so called 80/20 rule, which implies 80% of good food and 20% goes on indulging her needs. She starts her day with lemon and water, which is purified and alkaline, and she drinks warm quality water during the day. Since she was twelve years old, she drank Noni juice twice a day and this liquid intake works for her body well. Being a believer in moderateness, she also thinks that consistency is the key to any kind of diet. She also considers food her friend and follows Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s Blood Type Diet as best as she can. This diet sees person as a biochemical individual and her blood type allows her to eat ocean fish, vegetables and small amounts of organic chicken. She is also another celebrity who cut gluten from her diet. Miranda trains with leg weights and resistance bands five to six days a week, and she does Pilates and yoga. Even during her entire pregnancy, she kept up with yoga and it helped her not to gain pregnancy weight.

Depending on her schedule, her lunches are healthy and usually simple. Being a fan of Japanese takeout, she can often be caught with spicy tuna rolls and miso soup. Alessandra goes to Pilates and yoga thrice a week. Her trainer advised her to take intense 10-day sessions of the Brazil Butt Lift in order to stay in shape.

Adriana Lima keeps a low carb-low GI diet. She starts her day with egg breakfast. She usually drinks protein shakes for snacks, just like all other Victoria’s Secret Angels. The shakes are intended to tune her gastrointestinal activity and to promote proper muscle function. Additionally, they are good for her skin (that’s why it’s glowing!), hair and nails. Lunch and dinner are reserved for steamed or raw vegetables, such as broccoli, kale, asparagus and artichokes in a combination with protein. She also loves seasoing them with olive oil, sea salt and spices. Even though she has a busy schedule, Adriana lifts weights, does boxing and jumps rope twice a day in order to keep her body looking so stunning. Hard work indeed pays off.
